Port Property is proud to be sponsoring Hope Rising – An Evening of Celebrating and Supporting Hope Acts. Hope Acts is a local non-profit that provides housing and resources to immigrants and asylum-seekers transitioning to life in the Greater Portland area. Scheduled to be held virtually on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021, Hope Rising will celebrate a successful year of outreach and progress, honoring volunteers, partners, and community members who are making a difference.
Among those to be recognized is Rep. Victoria Morales, Executive Director of the Quality Housing Coalition (QHC). QHC’s program, Project Home, works with local programs and landlords to create housing opportunities for immigrants, asylum-seekers, and families or individuals who have experienced homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless.
As a longstanding partner of Project Home and the Quality Housing Coalition, Port Property understands the importance of helping make home happen for Project Home participants. With a shared commitment and dedication to equitable housing solutions, we are thrilled to sponsor Hope Acts’ Hope Rising event – and we look forward to continuing to support their mission in the future.
In addition to recognizing volunteers and partners, Hope Rising will also include a virtual tour of the Hope Acts’ workspace, trivia, and a silent auction featuring items donated by Portland artists and local businesses. The event is free to attend and will be held from 7-8:15 PM (E.T.) this Thursday, June 3rd.
