Port Property Provides COVID-19 Support to Three Community Organizations

Covid-19 has had a profound effect on all of us and our communities, with so many of our neighbors experiencing hardships due to this pandemic.  Port Property has been a part of the greater Portland community for more than 25 years and we believe we have a role to play in helping our community in this time of need.

In response, we established a charitable giving initiative to help relieve the financial strain this pandemic has had on our local community organizations as they continue their work to provide essential services to kids and families impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

An important component of this initiative was providing our employees with an opportunity to also support local organizations during this crisis.  We invited them to participate by helping determine the gift allocation to each organization.  Port Property selected three amazing local organizations to receive much needed financial support and each employee was asked to select their choice organization to receive the portion of the charitable gift Port Property would make to that organization on their individual behalf.

A total of $8,000 in direct financial support was made to these outstanding organizations:

  • A Company of Girls
  • Full Plates Full Potential
  • Youth & Family Outreach

The selected organizations work tirelessly to address food hunger, provide early care and education to vulnerable children and families in the Bayside community, and empower girls through youth mentorship.  Their impact on children and families is enormous, but during these particularly challenging times, their services are even more critical to the health and wellbeing of the neighbors of Port Property, its employees and residents.  Our entire Port Property team is proud to support them.
