For the last 25 years, Port Property has experienced tremendous growth and change. Throughout it all, we have never lost sight of the fact that our customers come to us needing a place to live, and our job is to help welcome them to their new home.
In 2019, after identifying the need for an updated website that would reflect our growth, capture our decades-long track record of exceptional service and commitment to quality, and improve the experience of our residents, we set to work. And, in the midst of the pandemic, we quietly revealed the result of that work – a new website and brand identity designed to emphasize the core values and principles that we have promoted, championed, and developed throughout our company’s 25+ year history.
At the very center of this effort, guiding all our decisions, was a focus on our purpose – our commitment to “making home happen.” Featured prominently on the new homepage, this simple phrase emphasizes our team’s deep understanding of how important it is to feel at home and our dedication to making that home a safe, clean, and well-maintained place to live. We believe in going the extra mile for our residents. As a locally owned and operated business, our property management teams live locally and are always available to respond to on-site needs and requests in order to ensure that our residents feel welcomed. We understand how important it is to feel at home where you live – which is why the new site highlights what ‘home’ means to our team through their individual “Home Is…” statements on our new About Us page.
The new website enhancements also include improved usability and performance, real-time apartment availability, a revamped search design, dedicated portfolio pages, detailed information on local neighborhoods, up-to-date news and company updates, new team profiles, and easily accessible rental information and FAQs.
Through this process, we also examined Port Property’s visual identity and decided to refresh our brand to better represent who we are as a company utilizing an updated name and logo. More than just a landlord, we also invest in our own properties, develop them from concept to construction, use our own construction team, and are involved in the communities we serve. Shortening our name from Port Property Management to Port Property speaks to the scope of our work extending beyond property management.
