Mill Company Gardens is a complex of 24 four-unit buildings. The apartments are all one bedroom units. Residents pay all their own utilities. There is limited off-street parking with one spot per unit, along with the possibility of renting a 2nd spot. Each unit has a private washer/dryer. The complex is located right next to South Portland’s Greenbelt Walkway, and very close to the Mill Creek Park and shopping plaza.

For heat (natural gas), please contact Unitil at 1-866-933-3821.
If any utility company needs access to a secured area of the building, please call Port Property’s Non-Emergency Maintenance Line at 207-699-2219 at least 24 hours in advance. Residents should leave their name, new address, and the connection date.
Note: Please do not schedule utilities to be turned on during the weekend or after hours if Port Property is required for access or assistance.
Laundry
All units include washer/dryers.
Parking
Permit parking in the designated lots (1-11) on Margaret and Mussey Street is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that, per the city of South Portland, from December 1st until April 1st, residents may not park on-street between 12 midnight and 6 am. Residents may be ticketed and/or towed.
Trash
Trash barrels and recycling bins are located behind each building. Trash and recycling bins will be labeled by unit number; please only use the designated receptacles.
All trash must be in closed trash bags; no loose items may be put in the dumpster. City of South Portland trash bags are not required.
Residents are to set out trash and recycling on the curb for pick-up on Tuesdays. Following collection, receptacles are to be brought back behind the building. If trash receptacles are not returned to the building by Wednesday at 10:30am, residents will be charged a fee.
If residents dispose of household trash and/or large items in or around the building, they will be charged for removal and disposal.
