37 Casco Street
37 Casco Street, also known as The Ambassador, is a six-story (seven including the basement level), 92-unit apartment building. According to the Maine Historical Society, the location was a combination of apartments and stores that were demolished in 1924; the current building was then constructed and called “Ambassador Apartments.” Check out a photo of the building circa 1924. The building consists almost exclusively of roughly 300 square foot studio apartments. Rents include heat, hot water, electric, water/sewer and cooking gas. Residents have access to coin-op laundry and trash/recycling removal.
Portland’s walkable downtown, chic restaurants, boutique shopping, and waterfront activities gives residents plenty to see and do, with public transportation available to take you where you want to go. Convenient living makes our Downtown apartments the perfect place to call home.
