Portland’s Oakdale neighborhood is a primarily suburban neighborhood, home to the Portland campus of the University of Southern Maine. These apartment homes are all an easy walk to the University and to all the restaurants, shopping and businesses found along Forest Ave and the Woodfords Corner commercial center. The Baxter Boulevard parkway is just a few steps away, and wraps along the West Side of Portland’s Back Cove, offering Oakdale residents a great place for a morning jog with beautiful views! The specified trash day is Monday.
To ensure the property is kept clean, residents must not put trash out before Sunday at 8 pm. City of Portland trash bags must be used and placed curbside (these can be purchased at local convenience stores and supermarkets).
If residents dispose of household trash and/or large items in or around the building, they will be charged for removal and disposal.
Please use the recycling totes, which are kept on the property, for single sort recyclables. Port Property is responsible for placing the totes curbside on a weekly basis.
The City of Portland’s recycling guide is available here.
