18 Casco Street
18 Casco Street, also known as The Shepley, is a six-story, 62-unit apartment building that was previously a hotel. The apartments are a mix of small to large studios, small to large one bedrooms and a few two bedrooms. Rents include heat, hot water, electric, water/sewer and cooking gas (where applicable). Residents have access to coin-op laundry, and trash/recycling removal. Some of the top floor apartments have amazing views of Portland’s Back Bay.

If any utility company needs access to a secured area of the building, please call Port Property’s Non-Emergency Maintenance Line at 207-699-2216 at least 24 hours in advance. Residents should leave their name, new address, and the connection date.
Laundry
Coin-op laundry machines are located on the first floor behind the mail room.
Note: To ensure minimal disruption, residents are asked to refrain from using the laundry facilities before 8 am and after 8 pm.
Amenities
Mailboxes are located on the first floor; from the main entry and lobby, take a right down the hallway and mailboxes are on the first left.

On-street parking only.

Trash
A dumpster is located in the rear of the building.
All trash must be contained in closed trash bags (City of Portland trash bags are not required) and placed inside of the dumpster.
If residents dispose of household trash and/or large items in or around the building, they will be charged for removal and disposal. Please use the recycling totes, which are kept on the property, for single sort recyclables.

Building Access
To set up a buzzer: Call Port Property at (207) 699-2218 and leave the resident’s address, telephone number, and reason for calling. Port Property will input this information into the system.
Once inputted, the resident’s telephone number will be linked to their apartment. When a guest requests entry, the resident’s phone will ring. After answering, push 6 to buzz open the door.
