Port Property Announces Strategic Promotions to Strengthen Tenant Experience and Operational Excellence

Port Property today announced a series of strategic promotions across our management team, reinforcing our commitment to creating exceptional tenant experiences. The promotions underscore our focus on developing internal talent and aligning leadership across our residential and mixed-use portfolio.

At the center of this transition is Marisa Stafford, who has been promoted to Director of Property Management. In her expanded role, Marisa now oversees all property management functions including residential, commercial, and out-of-state properties. She leads leasing strategy and provides high-level oversight of the property management team to ensure consistent service standards.

“By bringing property management under a single, intentional leadership structure, we’re creating greater consistency in how we operate and how our tenants experience our communities,” said Erika Pettingill, Vice President of Operations and Human Resources. “Marisa’s leadership allows us to align all day-to-day operations with our long-term strategy while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and care.”

Previously serving in a regional role, Marisa’s expanded responsibilities reflect Port Property’s growth in recent years. Her leadership will provide a unified approach to policies, procedures, and service delivery—supporting faster response times, clearer communication, and stronger relationships with tenants.

“Our goal is to continue raising the bar for customer service while maintaining the personal connections that matter most to our residents and tenants,” said Marisa. “This structure allows us to be more proactive, more consistent, and more efficient, while continuing to listen closely to the people who live and work in our buildings.”

In addition to Marisa’s promotion, Port Property announced several internal advancements across the management team:

  • Matthew Sargeant-Dubois, Regional Property Manager, Biddeford
  • Amanda Newton, Property Manager, Hanover Works Portfolio
  • Garrett Kidney, Property Manager, Downtown Portfolio
  • Madeline Rossignol, Resident Services Coordinator / Assistant Property Manager, The Levee
  • Julia Downey, Resident Services Coordinator / Assistant Property Manager, The Eddy

“These promotions reflect the depth of talent within Port Property,” Erika added. “Each one of these employees embodies the cultural values that underscore our work: service, excellence, innovation, collaboration, and integrity.”
